1. What does this Privacy Policy mean?

In this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the Privacy Policy), we provide you with information on how “taškU” (hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller) handles your personal data received: (i) by you using the website https://www.tasku.lt (hereinafter referred to as the Internet website); (ii) us conducting contests on social networks; (iii) our direct marketing; (iv) to ensure the protection of confidential information and business continuity; (v) for the purpose of performing contracts concluded between us and the legal entities; (vi) when you visit the Website or our social media accounts. The following are all persons whose data are processed by the Data Controller are referred to as Data Subjects.

2. About the Data Controller

3. What is personal data?

Personal data is any information collected by the Data Controller about the Data Subject that can be used to identify the Data Subject and is stored electronically or by other means.

Personal data includes any information, including the name, address, e-mail of the Data Subject, the postal address, telephone number that the Data Controller collects about the Data Subjects for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy or in the separate consent or agreement of the Data Subject with the Data Controller.

We would like to point out that depending on the actions you perform on the Website or in our social accounts, the scope, purposes, as well as the basis of your personal data processed by the Data Controller will also depend.

4. Personal data processed during the provision / receipt of electronic services (user account)

If you decide to become a registered user of the Website, we will process your personal data necessary for the performance of the electronic services agreement (user account) and contact you in case of questions regarding the performance of the agreement. Data we will use: first name, last name, e-mail address, telephone number, postal address, purchased, favourized products. If authorized representatives of data subjects act as employees of legal entities we will process additional data such as company name, address, company registration number and taxpayer identification number.

The legal basis for the processing is Article 6 (1) (B) of the GDPR (performance of the contract or attempt to take action at your request before the contract is concluded).

We retain your data until your user account is canceled or after 5 years from your last login.

5. Personal data that is processed when you purchase goods on the Website

In order to conclude and execute the Sales Agreement between us and you, as well as to contact you in case of questions regarding the execution of the Sales Agreement, we will process the following personal data of you: first name, last name, e-mail address, address of the place of delivery, telephone number, billing details (bank account number, etc.), information on executed, rejected or failed payments, information on the return of goods. If authorized representatives of data subjects act as employees of legal entities, we will process additional data such as company name, address, company registration number and taxpayer identification number.

The legal basis for the processing is Article 6 (1) (B) of the GDPR (performance of the contract or attempt to take action at your request before the contract is concluded).

Data confirming the fact of concluding the Sales Agreement and information and accounting documents related to the conclusion of the Agreement will be kept for 10 years after the conclusion of the Sales Agreement, and other information – for 5 years.

6. Personal data is processed during your participation in games organized by us

We can organize and run games on our Facebook or Instagram accounts.

All Data Entities participating in the Game will process the personal data they provide through their social network account (e.g., profile photo, name, email address).

To identify and reward the winner of the game, we will process the following personal data of the winner of the game: first name, last name, telephone number and address; data provided by the Data Subject using the social network account (e.g. profile photo, name, surname, e-mail address).

By participating in the game, the Data Subject agrees that the Data Controller will process the specified personal data.

The specified personal data is stored for 4 weeks after the end of the game.

7. Direct marketing

We will send offers for the sale of goods or services by electronic means (e-mail, telephone, SMS) to persons who have provided their contact details and have expressed a wish to receive information about the goods and / or services offered by “taškU” newsletters and other promotional material, we will inform you about the “taškU” news.

For the purpose of direct marketing, “taškU” will process the following personal data of you: telephone number, e-mail address (mandatory data, without which we will not be able to send you direct marketing messages). Your data will be processed for direct marketing purposes for 5 years from the date of consent.

If you have purchased goods or services sold by taškU and have not objected to receiving direct marketing communications (e.g. by ticking the opt-out box on the direct marketing consent form), we will email you notifications about goods or services that are similar to those provided, services or goods sold. In this case, your data will be processed for direct marketing purposes for 2 years after the last purchase of the product or service.

You have the right to object or refuse to receive direct marketing communications at any time by contacting us by the email address provided in Section 2.

8. Contact us

There are several ways you can contact us: by phone, email. We receive, review and respond to all reports ourselves. If you contact us, we may process the data you provide to us, i.e. first name, last name, e-mail address, telephone number, date and text of communication.

Such data will be processed in order to answer your questions and examine your suggestions. If you do not provide your contact information, we will not be able to contact you.

Communication between us and you is stored for 1 year from the receipt of the message, except for information for which other terms are set in the Privacy Policy or legal acts.

All personal data you provide when communicating with us is used only for the above purposes and to view messages and to administer and manage communication flows. We undertake not to use your personal data in any publications in such a way that it is possible to identify you without your express consent.

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the requirements established by the General Data Protection Regulation, the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts. Unreasonably immediately, but not later than within 1 (one) month from the receipt of the request, we will provide you with information about the actions taken upon receipt of your request for the use of your rights. Depending on the complexity of the application and the number of applications received, the said term may be extended for another 2 (two) months. In this case, we will inform you within 1 (one) month from the receipt of the request about such extension and the reasons for it. We will refuse to use your rights only in cases provided by law.

  • the period of time required to ascertain the accuracy of your personal data when you make claims about the accuracy of the data;
  • when our collection, storage or use of your personal data is illegal, but you decide not to request the deletion of the data;
  • when we no longer need your personal data, but you need it in order to establish, fulfill or defend a legal claim;
  • during the period necessary to determine whether we have a more substantial legal basis to continue to process your personal data if you have exercised your right to object to the processing of your personal data.
  1. You have the right to transfer data that is processed by automated means and that we have received from you with your consent or for contractual purposes. If you implement this right, we will transfer a copy of the data you provide at your request.
  2. You have the right to not consent to our use of your personal data in accordance with the established procedure regarding the GDPR 21st part. You have the right to object when your personal data is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest (for each of the above purposes of processing, the basis on which the data is processed is indicated) or for the purpose of direct marketing.

If you are not satisfied with the results of the investigation, you will be able to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority – the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).

15. Responsibility

You are responsible for the confidentiality of the information you provide and for ensuring that the information you provide to us is accurate, correct and complete. If the data provided by you changes, you must immediately inform us by e-mail. In no event will we be liable for any damages incurred by you as a result of you providing incorrect or incomplete personal information or not informing us of any changes of this data.

We may update or change this Privacy Policy at any time without any notice. It is your right to check this policy and be up to date with the updates.
